Research on needs, habits and behaviour.
PlannedA shared future starts with everyday choices.
Knowing that the environment matters does not always make changing a habit easy. Time, cost, access and motivation all shape what people can do. GreenHabits starts by listening, then turns what we learn into practical tools and local action.

The project
An Erasmus+ cooperation partnership in youth, connecting Bulgaria, Croatia and Serbia. Young people, youth workers, trainers, schools, organisations and communities are invited to explore sustainable everyday life together.

From understanding to action
We listen first. We build useful tools. Young people bring them into their communities. Then we learn from the results.
Explore habits, motivations and barriers through research, surveys and focus groups.
Develop and validate a Balkan Green Behaviour Model, a learning programme and campaign toolkit.
Support national training and youth-led local campaigns in all three countries.
Compare the pilots, share lessons and publish resources and recommendations.
What we plan to achieve
Train 75 young people aged 18–30 as local green change leaders: 25 in each country. Each national pilot will include two training workshops, one youth-led campaign and one public community event. Three national roundtables and openly accessible learning resources will help share the lessons. These are approved targets, not achieved results.
The planned journey
The common pilot framework, selection criteria and monitoring tools are planned for July 2027, before national implementation.
Development and validation of the model and learning tools.
